About Me
My name is Nadia Gardner-Charles, I am an integrative psychotherapist accredited by both the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), and currently training as a counselling psychologist. My practice draws on a range of therapeutic modalities, allowing me to tailor support to the unique needs of each client. These may include elements from psychodynamic, humanistic, cognitive-behavioural, and somatic approaches.
I have worked extensively with individuals facing complex emotional challenges, including trauma and suicidal ideation, across both community and clinical settings. In my current NHS role, I specialise in cancer care, providing psychological support to patients and their families as they navigate the emotional impact of diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.
At the heart of my work is the belief in a collaborative, compassionate therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a safe and respectful space where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences, build resilience, and foster meaningful change.
